About me and the site

Hi, I’m Peter. While being a software engineer, I also like to cook and brew my own beer. Over time I’ve become disillusioned by the world of processed food. The long list of unnecessary ingredients just to improve the self life and reduce the cost of manufacturing. So I’ve set out on a journey to make my own food, and what a journey it has been. While not always cheaper to make your own, it is definitely worth it in terms of understanding what you are eating and the enjoyment of owning what you eat.
