“You’ll have a soft spot for this one. Using only fresh Michigan tart cherries, this beauty tantalizes with intense flavors combined with a no hesitation malt bill. Adding fresh cherries at five separate stages of fermentation achieves the ultimate balance between tartness and sweetness.” from Founders Brewing Co
All in all I couldn’t have said it better myself. This was deeeelightful. Delightful.
Recommend to a friend? Mmmhmm. Cerises all around. We’ll skip you folks who only want a straightforward ale without any funny business, or who are too scared to be seen drinking a fruit beer.
Safe for lightweights? 6.5% what a beautiful afternoon beer for the patio.
Two thumbs up.
Labeling? Normally I don’t like the old school looks-like-Jane-Eyre’s-handwriting font, but somehow the Cerise pulls it off.
Plus one? I’m getting a six pack of these next time.
