All in all This is a great beer for a day of laying out in the sun, but it’s pretty forgettable after the day is said and done. I was a little nervous about trying a “fruity” beer, because after trying some horrible cherry beer at the Heorot once, I haven’t been able to stop associating a fruit beer with cough syrup. So I was understandably hesitant but pleasantly surprised. You can taste the hint of blueberry, but the flavor is not overwhelming at all and it still tastes like a beer. Plus as a bonus, it’s excellent with frozen blueberries. Yum yum.

Recommend to a friend? If you’re wanting to delve into a fruit beer, and don’t want to have something that is in your face, try this one on for size.

Safe for lightweights? 5.5% Again, we’re all good.

Labeling? Ehh. I’m not a fan of that font, but I love that the trumpet is blowing out blueberries instead of notes.
